Late Night Doodle

Ahhh, I finally had time to draw a digital picture of my favorite girl. I missed drawing her and giving her all the art she deserves. I started to think about her as a character the other day and came to the realization that I have changed so much when it comes to how I analyze my favorite shows and characters. I used to be a stickler for canon, and I never wanted to diverge from it. I also held even really bad (personality-wise) characters on a pedestal. Ive become so much more lax on that whole idea. 

Yuka may never escape her roots as an InuYasha OC, but I have been drawing her in more modern outfits recently, and Ive toyed around with an alternate hairstyle for her, which is basically cut to where her bangs end. Yes, I chop off all the hair sometimes. I love her dearly, and Ive worked too hard on her story to abandon it, but shes become more of a free OC than she used to be.
